What is Somatic Coaching?
Somatic coaching is a way of working with your body— not just your thoughts— to understand what you’re carrying and how it’s showing up in your life.
Rather than focusing only on talking through experiences, we pay attention to what your body is holding— through sensation, emotion, and awareness.
This work invites a different question.
Not “what’s wrong with you?”
“What happened to you?”
From there, understanding begins to shift—
with more context, more compassion, and less judgment.
You might be wondering…
how this works—
and if it’s right for you.
-
This work is for anyone who feels:
stuck
overwhelmed
disconnected
or curious about what their body might be holding
You don’t need a specific reason or diagnosis—just a willingness to explore what’s present.
-
No.
You don’t need to define your experiences in a certain way for this work to be meaningful.
We focus less on labels—and more on how your body has held what you’ve been through.
-
That’s not the goal.
We focus on helping your system feel safe enough to gently process what’s present.
If something comes up, you’ll be supported with tools to stay grounded and connected throughout. Watch the full video response →

Each session is guided by you.
We may talk, explore your story, and gently notice what’s happening in your body in real time. This combination of conversation and awareness is what we often refer to as story work—understanding your experiences not just through what happened, but how they’ve been held.
Depending on what’s present, we may incorporate simple somatic practices such as breathwork, meditation, movement, or other supportive tools to help your system settle, process, and respond differently.
Every session is a little different—but the intention is the same:
to support your system in moving toward greater safety, clarity, and connection. -
Somatic coaching includes conversation— but it doesn’t stop there.
Rather than focusing on talking through experiences, we focus our attention on what your body is holding—through sensation, emotion, and awareness.
This allows us to work with patterns that aren’t always accessible through words alone.
Somatic coaching is not therapy, and we don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
Instead, this work offers a supportive, body-based approach to understanding your experiences and how they’re showing up in your life.

Everyone’s process is different, but we do encourage a foundational beginning.
For most clients, this looks like starting with 5–7 sessions. These initial sessions create a kind of launch point—supporting your system in building safety, awareness, and internal connection.
Because this work is often layered and interconnected, consistency allows for deeper understanding over time.
From there, some people choose to continue regularly, while others move into sessions as needed.
There’s no pressure— but there is value in giving the process enough space to unfold.
